Oakley rolls out $1,000 in coupons for local businesses

Published Monday February 29

OAKLEY — The city is rewarding local shoppers with $1,000 in potential savings.

Last week, city officials announced the roll out of this year’s Shop Oakley coupon booklet, which features a cumulative $1,000 in coupons for thirty local businesses.

The thirty businesses include some restaurants, like Mr. Pickles, Carpaccios, Sabrina’s Pizzeria, or seven Mares Grill, but also a broad range of other stores: Hook, Line & Sinker, Oakley Executive Storage, Cypress Cleaners, and the UPS Store all made the list.

The Shop Oakley program, originally known as Oakley First, was created in 2007 and spearheaded by then-Mayor Kevin Romick, according to a city news release.
